Giant Squirrel Ratufa affinis: Sepilok Canopy Walkway, Sabah
If you are lucky enough the visit the Sepilok Canopy Walkway, at the Rainforest Discovery Centre Sepilok in Sabah, Malaysian Borneo, look out for a pair of Giant Squirrels Ratufa affinis.
This pair are often seen next to the Hornbill Tower.
The female of the pair is shown above dozing on a branch during the heat of midday.
The male is slightly smaller and overall darker than the female. He has a slight deformity on the right hand ear shown in the photos below.
