Jentink’s Flying Squirrel Hylopetes platyurus feeding in a fruting oak tree next to the road between Kinabalu Park HQ and the Timpohon Gate on Kinabalu at c. 1650 m asl. This was one of 3 species of flying squirrel observed on two succesive nights in the same oak tree.  The other two flying squirrels were  the Spotted Giant Flying Squirrel and Horsefield’s Flying Squirrel.
