A rarely seen Smooth-tailed Treeshrew Dendrogale melanura endemic to Borneo photographed for the first time by Stephanie de Win at the Mahua waterfall on the lower slopes of the Crocker Range near Tambunan in Sabah. This is one of only 2 treeshrews found in the mountains of Borneo as illustrated and described below in the Phillipps Field Guide to the Mammals of Borneo.
