Kayan Slow Loris Nycticebus kayan photographed by Andy Paul at Ba Kelalalan c. 3000 feet asl in the hills of NE Sarawak.
It is believed that 4 species of Slow Loris occur on mainland Borneo. The Kayan Slow Loris is believed to replace the lowland Philippine Slow Loris in the hills of N. Borneo.
Ba Kelalan adjoins the Pulong Tau National Park. Pulong Tau includes Gunung Murud, (2423 m), Borneo’s second highest mountain after Kinabalu.
