Vordermann’s Flying Squirrel is somewhat of a mystery mammal in Borneo with only two records to date.
One of the records is from peatswamp forest in Brunei the other from hill forest in East Kalimantan which may be a mistake. Vorderman’s Flying Squirrel appears to be locally common in the peatswamp forest surrounding the Kinabatangan Wetland Resort (KWR) near Kg Abai on the Kinabatangan river in East Sabah.
